Figured Mesquite hollow vessel. Beautiful and lustrous and very old. The burl figure runs throughout this piece. What an absolute joy to work with. The carving adds a little more of that something that I just feel needs to be said. I enjoy exploring what stories can be told while keeping the wood visible.
