Elm wood bowl with carved rim. Colored with acrylics, blue, green and white. It works well with the natural edge as well. Gives the feeling of a second skin for the Elm wood. A different approach with this one, using the actual grain of the wood which was charred which creates a subtle texture. Which contrasts the beautiful rich heartwood of the Elm wood.
