This platter is turned from Cocobolo. I had planned on something entirely different with this piece but not was turned and I saw the hypnotic grain, I couldn’t bear to do anything to it. Perfect the way it is! Platters are a wonderful way to display the wood in it it’s raw and unadulterated form. Especially rare and beautiful wood such as this.
