Black Oak wood hollow vessel. Turned while still wet, then dried rapidly. Finished off with some wonderful charring. Then some dye is applied to the lighter areas to give the piece an ancient and very minimalist aesthetic. These are my favorite types of turning to do. Let the wood be wood and watch what happens. Each piece is one of a kind in itself.
