Birch Vessel with carved opening. These pieces are so expressive and a joy to make. Feeling totally liberated to experiment with the opening. It gives a whole new look and feel to the ordinary. The inside is painted with black ink acrylic. I enjoy the negative spaces the black inside creates around the carved opening. It gives a complete sense of mystery.
