Walnut square edged bowl/platter with carved exterior. A different pattern of gentle waves emanating from the dark heartwood. I think it’s very ethereal and calming. It works well with the deep tones of the Walnut as well. I do love the idea of having two contrasting surfaces to look at. The outside draws you into the inside. Gives the feeling of a second skin for the wood.
