Pear hollow vessel. Working with a simple and elegant shape. Then comes the layers upon layers of different dyes and coloring. To round it off I have highlighted the individual zones of color with archival ink to create an homage to the naturally sparring patterns that occur when wood decomposes. A great process to turn bland wood into something distinctively all its own.
