Carved Walnut vessel. Somewhat inspired by the patterning on sea turtles and sandstone. Exploring patterns and scaling them up and down.There is some beautiful figure in the wood as well. I do love the idea of having two contrasting surfaces to look at. The outside draws you into the inside. Gives the feeling of a second skin for the wood.
