Macassar Ebony vessel with African Blackwood lid. Beautiful and bold. The beautiful figure runs throughout this piece. What an absolute joy to work with. This is one of those woods that worked exactly like I thought it wood. It’s always a great to turn something exotic and different. A very striking timber with black streaks that almost give the piece an out of focus effect! The lid is turned from Blackwood. The lid is textured for a little extra drama.
